Arlens — Interview Recording
This is a public document for people who apply for a job at Arlens. It explains, in plain terms, how and why we sometimes record interviews.
What this is
Some interviews in our hiring process may be recorded (for example, the phone screen, the main interview, or reference calls).
Why we record
So the hiring team can review the conversation afterwards, make fair decisions, and reduce bias. It is only used inside Arlens for hiring.
It is your choice
Recording is optional. You give a simple Yes or No, and you can take part fully without being recorded. You can change your mind at any time — just email cl@arlens.fi.
Where the recording is stored
We use a service called Loom, which is based in the United States. This transfer is protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Recordings are deleted as part of our normal retention schedule, together with the rest of your application data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, limit, or delete your data, including any recording, at any time. See our Your Data Rights document, or email cl@arlens.fi. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
